Civitella Del Lago Vacations from $739

Great little spot near good food! Great staff and a cool place to stay! Very sound proof! Tiny bathroom as expected for Italy but the pillows were very comfortable!

We love Hotel Genio. We have stayed here in the past. It has a wonderful rooftop terrace with tables and a great view of the area from above. Wonderful place to sit after a day of exploration and share a bottle of wine. The breakfast is excellent with a great selection of foods. The hotel is clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately, our stay was a very disappointing experience from beginning to end. The property did not meet the standards we expected, and the overall experience was nothing like what was advertised. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed several issues with the property and felt uncomfortable staying there. The condition of the accommodation was disappointing, and there were concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and the overall quality of the room. The property did not feel properly prepared for guests. Communication and customer service were also frustrating. We expected the staff/management to be responsive and helpful when concerns were brought to their attention, but the situation was not handled in a way that made us feel valued as guests. Ultimately, we decided that the best option was to leave and find alternative accommodations rather than continue our stay. For the price we paid, the experience was completely unacceptable. I would strongly recommend that future guests carefully consider other options before booking. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again or recommend this property to others.

The hotel is beautifully appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. As an example, after we we said that the pillows were too hard, the hotel quickly delivered softer pillows to our room. The area in which the hotel is located also includes several execellent dining options. Our stay was very pleasant. I would stay there again if I returned to Rome.

We arrived in Italy after an incredible African safari and spent three nights at Hotel Damaso, which far exceeded our expectations! The hotel is beautifully and elegantly designed, perfectly located for exploring Rome, and our room was absolutely immaculate. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious, making for the perfect start to each day. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would 100% recommend Hotel Damaso to anyone visiting Rome. We hope to be back soon! 🇮🇹✨
